FEC fundraising deadlines are such a big deal because they give the corporate media a snapshot to say how well each campaign is doing.

In the unfortunate world where money matters over everything else, these FEC reports let the media say who's up, who's down, and who's worthy of coverage to be the next president.

Last fundraising quarter — despite having far more contributions than anyone else — we were out-raised by several of our opponents who hosted high-dollar fundraising events. The media trumpeted that fact. We don't want that to happen again.

That's why Monday's FEC deadline is so important, and why we're aiming for a huge number of contributions. And it's why we're asking you now:
