We want to level with you. No one doubts that Beto is capable of raising money and exciting small-dollar donors. We've proven it time and time again, and we're still up in the top tier of presidential contenders.

But lately our fundraising has slowed down considerably. At the same time, other candidates are reporting big surges.

We set a big goal because $750k is what we need to file a strong FEC report. We might not make it, but we need to try our best right now to close the gap. Emails like this one usually generate about half of all the money we've raised so far, but only 1-in-100 people reading any given email end up donating.
