Hi there -- I'm Scott, the new DSCC Executive Director. We have a lot to catch up on -- and a lot of work ahead -- but first I have an urgent request. Our first quarterly FEC deadline of the year is coming up this Sunday, and we have a lot of ground to make up if we're going to hit our goal. To be exact, as I write this we're $290,846 behind. That's a big chunk of change, and if we don't get our act together we could fall short. Because it's so important, all gifts are being triple-matched until April 1. If you've been waiting for the right time to give, this is it. You can chip in at this link and help us get back on track: http://www.dscc.org/Q1-deadline Right now, we're gathering our most skilled strategists and grassroots organizers to help us identify important opportunities for 2020 and create paths for new ones. We're working to elect Democrats who will fight for our health care, economic equality, and our climate. Challengers who are going to help us take back the Senate. But we can't do that without harnessing the power of this grassroots team. And while I don't mean to alarm you, Senate Republicans just announced record fundraising numbers. The hard truth is that if we don't hit this goal, our plans could be in jeopardy. If we want to beat them and take back our Democratic majority (and believe me, I know we both really do) I need every single one of you to please step up to join this fight. Not tomorrow. Not next year. Right now. Today. Can you help get us back on track to flip the Senate by making a triple-matched gift right now? http://www.dscc.org/Q1-deadline I'm so glad you're a part of this team. Thanks for everything you do. Scott Fairchild Executive Director, DSCC P.S. The DSCC is the only committee dedicated to electing a Democratic Senate majority -- and we need to get it done. No more excuses. No more finger pointing. Flipping the Senate starts with us and it starts right now. Pitch in before the FEC deadline to help hit our end end-of-quarter goal: http://www.dscc.org/Q1-deadline |
