After midnight today, we are required to show how much support we have raised in this campaign by releasing our campaign finance report.
It will have powerfully important implications.
In fact, based on what we report, many Texas voters will decide whether it's worth it to vote in this next election.
If we show strength and momentum by continuing to out-raise Greg Abbott, people will know that we have what it takes to carry this to victory — and they will register to vote before the October 11 deadline, make a plan to vote and encourage their friends and family members to join them.
But if we don't — if people like you decline to step up and give when it can make the greatest difference — then those prospective voters will write this campaign off, stay at home, and we won't be able to count on them to put us over the top.
In other words: what we do today becomes one of the best predictors of our performance on Election Day.
Your donation before midnight today brings us closer than anything else we can do right now to winning this election on November 8th.
