I hope I make you proud tonight

Tonight is an important night -- so I wanted to send you a final note before I dive back into preparing for the debate. But first, it would mean a lot to me if you would consider contributing to our campaign and helping us hit our million-dollar online goal:

Last night, you heard many bold, progressive ideas from candidates who believe in a better America for all of us. Tonight, I will be on for round two at 9:00 p.m. ET -- and I want you to know how excited I am to face off against Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, and others.

In just a few hours, we will have the opportunity to share our own powerful ideas for the future of our country and make our case directly to millions of undecided voters -- making this our best chance to set ourselves apart in a crowded field. We cannot let it go to waste.

As you know, I have been laser-focused on debate prep and have had few opportunities to fundraise. The bad news is that we're falling behind on where we need to be -- but you can do something about it right now:

Add a donation to our campaign as part of our last-minute fundraising push to reach this million-dollar online goal. I need your support to get back on track and spend these final hours focused on my debate prep. Can I count on your help?

Ours is a campaign of the people, by the people, and for ALL people -- and tonight's debate will be about what we're going to do together to move our country forward. That's why I'm confident our message will resonate with the millions of Americans who will be tuning in.

As always, I'm deeply grateful for everything you do. I hope you know your generosity at moments like these sustains our campaign and makes all the difference in the world.

One last thing before I go: I hope I make you proud tonight.

For The People,

— Kamala Harris
