Hands off birthright citizenship!

Pamela, On his very first day in office, Donald Trump issued an executive order ending birthright citizenship. This executive order was deemed "blatantly unconstitutional" by a Reagan-appointed judge and was blocked by a federal court. Trump's whirlwind of chaos hides that Republicans are still laying the groundwork to circumvent the Constitution and strip our neighbors of their citizenship. Dozens of them are co-sponsoring H.R. 569, a law to deny citizenship to children of non-citizens, which is a constitutional right and the law of the land. The Constitution grants citizenship to American-born children. Period.
