Pamela,
This week in Tallahassee, Common Cause Florida joined hundreds of advocates and allies for the Florida Voting Rights Rally on Wednesday, March 26. Our Executive Director, Amy Keith, took the stage to demand action—urging lawmakers to pass the Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Florida Voting Rights Act.
But the fight to expand and protect voting rights in Florida doesn't stop at the rally. We need to make sure all Floridians know about this vital legislation.
Can you chip in to help continue the fight in Tallahassee and across the state?

The Florida Voting Rights Act (Senate Bill 1582 and House Bill 1409) would ensure every Floridian can vote freely and fairly—especially communities that have been historically marginalized and targeted by voter suppression efforts.
Passing the Florida Voting Rights Act would:
Repeal recent Florida laws that have made it harder to vote by mail
Establish Election Day as a holiday and authorize Same-Day Voter Registration
Require counties with histories of voter suppression to get preclearance before making voting changes
Expand access to the ballot for eligible voters who don't speak English
Strengthen transparency and accountability around election changes
And more!
The rally showed that our movement is powerful—but only if we all participate. Help us bring more voices into the fight for voting rights in Florida.
Thank you for all you do,
Franceska Edouard, Florida Organizer
and the team at Common Cause Florida
