Tell Congress: Please urge the USPS Board of Governors to end dysfunction at the Post Office and fire Louis DeJoy. | Trump appointed Louis DeJoy to run the United States Postal Service (USPS), and DeJoy has run it into the ground. The mail is slower than it was during the last presidential election, when DeJoy came under fierce criticism for mail voting delays. Now, NBC News reports that mail is the very slowest in swing states. Senator Jon Ossoff pressed DeJoy earlier this year to "fully resolve disastrous performance failures" at USPS. But DeJoy doesn't seem to care. He even said that he's "grown numb to criticism." We need Congress to take a stand to save the USPS, protect mail voting, and get rid of Trump-appointee Louis DeJoy. Sign the petition: Urge Congress to publicly call for the USPS Board to FIRE Louis DeJoy. DeJoy has a disastrous 10 year plan to privatize the USPS. Mail delivery has already slowed down year-over-year under his plan, and now he wants to reduce rural mail service even more. Prices keep rising for consumers and small businesses. Senator Ossoff and a bipartisan coalition of 26 U.S. Senators raised the alarm about the Trump-appointed Postmaster General's disastrous tenure and plans to further degrade the USPS. But we need every single member of the House and Senate, Democrats and Republicans, to say loud and clear that DeJoy must go. Sign the petition: Urge members of Congress to pressure the USPS Board to fire DeJoy. |
