The sky is not falling.
All hope is not lost.
We are not broke.
That may be what other campaigns and organizations tell you before an FEC fundraising deadline, but we'll never do that.
That said, the truth is that we are pacing behind on our goals before our FEC fundraising deadline on June 30th and are really hoping for a few days with lots of donations to catch up.
We don't pull numbers out of a hat. We look at what we need to spend, and by when, in order to win. Then we strive to reach those numbers.
But the only way we get these is when people all across Michigan and around the country contribute to make it happen.
It's pretty cool, to be honest. Strangers, neighbors, people you'll never meet in your life all giving a few bucks in pursuit of a shared goal. We hope you'll join them today — because it would mean a lot to our chances.
