Tell Congress: Protect workers and protect democracy - Pass the PRO Act! | A bipartisan group of Senators says that Amazon lied to Congress about the mega-corporation's treatment of delivery drivers. Congress has been looking into Amazon's labor relationships with contractors, as Amazon comes under fire for bad pay, poor working conditions, and union-busting tactics when it comes to its delivery workers. Meanwhile, Amazon spent $14.2 million on anti-union consulting in 2022. Amazon will do anything it can to pay workers less so they can pay their executives millions and millions of dollars. It's textbook corporate greed. That's why we need Congress to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act) in order to empower unions and workers. Sign the petition: Fight back against corporate greed at Amazon! Protect workers and empower unionization efforts in America by passing the PRO Act. Corporations across the country, like Starbucks and Amazon, are pouring millions into trying to stop unionization efforts, when they could be using that money to improve conditions for their workers. And the right-wing Supreme Court is siding with these corporations. Last week, SCOTUS issued a ruling making it harder for workers to challenge corporate union-busting in court. Workers are bravely fighting against corporate employers and right-wing judges for fair pay, benefits, and working conditions. Congress can act to make their fight easier. The PRO Act would remove many barriers to forming a union in the workplace and impose harsher fines and penalties on corporations that interfere in the process. This legislation would counter and neutralize much of the big corporate union busting in America. Add your name: Pass the PRO Act! |
