Growing up, my mother instilled in me the ability to see what could be, unburdened by what has been.
As a pioneer of breast cancer research, she was driven by the belief that every problem has a solution. She taught me to look for those solutions without thinking that we must blindly adhere to tradition. That’s not too different from how President Biden, House Democrats, and I have approached our time in the White House.
From unprecedented investments in our country’s infrastructure and tackling the climate crisis head-on to lowering the cost of prescription drugs and passing the first significant federal gun safety law in nearly 30 years, President Biden, House Democrats and I have sought out solutions undeterred by what has been done before.
But we’ll be the first to admit that we cannot continue this work without your support.
As Americans, it is up to all of us to see what can be, unburdened by what has been -- and as a critical member of this grassroots team, we are so proud to have you in our corner making that possible.
