Friend, 4-year-old Oleh* is a kindergartener in Dnipro, Ukraine – an active war zone. His school’s basement has been turned into a bomb shelter equipped with emergency kits filled with water, snacks, warm clothing and comforting toys. To reduce the children’s stress, teachers have turned evacuating into an “adventure into the cave” where they play loud music, dance and dress up as fantasy creatures.
We’re asking for your support again, friend. Unfortunately, we just missed yesterday’s $500,000 Children’s Emergency Fund goal. But because this is so important to our life-saving emergency response efforts across the globe, we’re extending the deadline until midnight tonight.
Your support allows us to be there before, during and after an emergency, partnering with communities to identify and address children’s most urgent needs.
