It's no surprise that 59% of Texans now believe our state is headed in the wrong direction. Abbott has chosen an extreme agenda over delivering for the people of Texas — from his inaction on gun violence to signing the most extreme abortion ban in the country.
We've proven we have the people on our side. In the last reporting period, we outraised Abbott with over 4x as many contributions as Abbott — setting a record for the most money raised by a state-level candidate in Texas history.
But in order to win this race, we need to be realistic. Abbott still has millions more in cash — and already has nearly $20 million in TV ads reserved to flood Texas with attacks against Beto. We can't let Abbott's corporate mega-donors drown out our momentum.
