We will overcome this decision by winning political power.
The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe is devastating for women across this country — but nowhere more so than Texas, where Abbott's trigger law can now go into effect, outlawing abortion with no exception for rape or incest.
We have to focus on the way we're going to overcome this and ensure every Texas woman can make her own decisions about her own body, her own health care, and her own future.
The only way to do this is to win political power. We must win on the night of November 8th.
We set a goal to raise $4,000,000 in grassroots donations before midnight on June 30th. We need these resources to compete with Abbott, and even more so, to reach every single voter across Texas to make sure they understand what's on the line now that Roe has been overturned.
