RSVP now to take to the streets if the Supreme Court overturns Roe and attacks abortion rights.
Dear MoveOn member,
At some point before the end of this month, the right-wing justices who have taken over the Supreme Court could issue a decision overturning Roe v. Wade and 49 years of protections for abortion access. Until then, the protections of Roe—limited, but critical—remain in place. But if the extremists overturn Roe, legal abortion access will become even more curtailed in states across America.
If that happens, we are ready to take to the streets—at "We Won't Go Back" protests all around the country.
MoveOn is partnering with the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Women's March, UltraViolet, the American Civil Liberties Union, NARAL Pro-Choice America, the SEIU, the Liberate Abortion coalition of reproductive justice organizations and leaders, and partners across the country to organize "We Won't Go Back" actions—a powerful, public, ubiquitous response to this potential decision.
If the right-wing justices undo 49 years of precedent, it will be the first time a Constitutional right is taken away from Americans. And it will immediately set in motion trigger laws in 26 states that will make abortion even less accessible—from abortion bans to policies criminalizing providers. Abortion is already inaccessible to many—especially people of color, immigrants, and lower-income folks—and overturning Roe will be an attack on our bodies, our health, and our autonomy.
The fight for abortion rights—and against right-wing extremism in all its forms—will take many shapes. But on the day of the ruling, we know we'll take to the streets.
We hope you will join us.
Thanks for all you do.

Please note that this event is hosted by an entity other than MoveOn. We are committed to maintaining public health measures to practice safer protesting during the pandemic. Please follow all local safety guidelines. We urge full vaccination for everyone who is able and mask-wearing as appropriate. Additionally, a core principle shared by supporting organizations is a commitment to nonviolent actions.
Want to support our work? Right-wing groups are spending tens of millions of dollars on TV ads to smear critical progressive legislation. Meanwhile, donations to progressive groups like MoveOn are plummeting now that a Democrat is in the White House, meaning we don't have the resources to fight back. That's a huge problem, and that's why we urgently need your support.
Will you chip in to fight right-wing lies and pass urgent legislation to confront the multiple crises our country faces?
Click here to chip in $3, or whatever you can afford.
