Together, we accomplished a lot. We helped save the global economy, made critical investments in clean energy, and provided millions of people with better health care and more protections. I'm so proud of every member of this team who helped elect Democrats to the House and Senate to get it all done. The fight to build a better America continues. There is still much work to be done to root out racism in our communities. The right to vote is consistently under attack. And by overturning Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues -- attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.
