It’s Nancy. Nearly one week ago, the Supreme Court confirmed our worst fears and voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. I can’t change what these far-right justices have done to our country -- but I can make the Congressional Republicans who brought us to this moment regret ever coming after the right to choose. Hear me loud and clear: The fight for reproductive rights isn’t over -- in fact, it’s only just beginning. And if we want any hope of preventing the GOP from enacting a federal abortion ban -- and, someday, restoring a nationwide right to choose -- then we need to defeat every last anti-choice House Republican and replace them with a strong, pro-choice House Democrat.  In all my years as your Speaker, this is the most important request I’ve ever made of you: Please, stand with me on the right side of history and rush $3 before my 2022 Mid Year Deadline to protect and EXPAND our pro-choice House Majority. >> Anti-choice Republicans are celebrating right now. They’re celebrating Mitch McConnell’s brazen disregard for our institutions as he packed the Supreme Court with THREE Trump justices. They’re celebrating that, after 50 years as the law of the land, their ruthless campaign to destroy the American right to an abortion has finally succeeded. And they’re celebrating the prospect of returning to power -- when they’ll be able to take their anti-choice attacks to the next level and enact a national abortion ban. To these Republicans, I have just one thing to say: Your celebration will be short-lived -- and your attacks on the right to choose will completely BACKFIRE. I’ve seen my fair share of history-defining moments -- and I know this is one of them. So believe me when I say: NO ONE can sit this moment out.
