It's (almost) New Year's Day.
In addition to a time to remember your goals, it's the start of a major election year -- a time when we have to hit the ground running if we're going to not just protect, but expand our Democratic majorities in Congress and elect Democrats at every level in counties, states, towns, and cities.
That's where my friends at the Democratic National Committee come in: They're the only organization tasked with electing Democrats up and down the ballot -- and it's absolutely crucial that they meet their end-of-year fundraising goal before tomorrow's deadline so we can kick off the midterm election cycle as strong as ever.
Will you make a $25 donation to the DNC before their end-of-year deadline tomorrow?
I've been talking to a lot of people who think that last year's elections were the end of our work together. We elected President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, and now we can all go home. I can't tell you how WRONG that is!
Next year's midterm elections are incredibly important -- and they're going to be tough to win. But we know how to do it (remember we lifted Democrats to victory nationwide just last year!). That's why I hope you'll join me in keeping up the fight and connecting with voters across the country.
With just a handful of seats in Congress standing between us and a Republican takeover, everything we've worked so hard for is on the ballot next year. That's why the DNC's commitment to make historic investments in electing Democrats in all 50 states, the territories, and D.C. is so important.
But just how much the DNC is able to ramp up these investments in the new year depends on hitting fundraising goals like tomorrow's. I've seen grassroots supporters like you step up to the plate when I've emailed you before, and this team is our best chance at winning next year.
So if you're with me, and if you're with Joe, Kamala, and Jaime too, I need you to pitch in $25 to the DNC ahead of tomorrow's end-of-year fundraising deadline.
I know that if we stick together, we can make 2022 a year to remember (for all the best reasons!)
