Hi Cynthia, it's Carole King. I hope you're enjoying the holiday season and getting to spend it with loved ones.
I'm reaching out to you today to reflect on the past year. We've accomplished so much since we took back the Senate from Mitch McConnell and his dark money machine. This year alone, Democrats have:
- Delivered CRITICAL pandemic relief
- Passed a HISTORIC infrastructure bill
- Cut taxes for over 35 MILLION families
- Created millions of good-paying jobs AND brought the economy back to life.

Even with the slimmest possible majority and Republicans refusing to vote for bills that Democrats were FOR, Democrats solved many of the problems that kept folks up at night.

Democrats have done so much already, but they don't stop and say "That's good enough." Democrats want to keep moving us forward, while Republicans conspire to hold us back.
Mitch McConnell literally called himself the "grim reaper" of the Senate. Why would any American want a "grim reaper" in charge of his or her future?
That's the difference, Cynthia. Democrats went to bat for the American people and are eager to do more. The once-Grand Old Party is now the party of McConnell and Trump.
Republicans want to take us back to a time when there was a lot more suffering than most people knew about. And even as I write this, Republicans are denying longstanding rights to more than half the American people.
That's why we've got to participate in the 2022 election with an even more fierce urgency than we did in 2020. And that's why I'm doing my part to help Democrats win the Senate decisively in 2022. Will you join me in contributing $375?
Democrats have a lot of accomplishments to run on, but Mitch McConnell has a crushing amount of cash on hand. Some of it comes from undisclosed big donors, and some of it comes from people who believe Republicans' outlandish false claims and conspiracy theories that inspire hatred for Democrats as "the other."
Republicans have no plan other than regaining control.
Democrats are determined to fight fear, hatred, and anger with accomplishments and a forward-looking approach to solving problems like food on the table, child care, and how to pay for their family's medical needs. I'm asking you to join me in helping the DSCC win decisively and show Republicans just how badly they're misjudging the people they were elected to help.
Now's the time to make our dreams happen—not just for Democrats but also for our Republican neighbors who share those dreams—and that starts with ensuring that the DSCC has the resources to elect Democrats in all our key states and expand our majority!
