Hey,
Did you see Joe's email? The DNC faces an important quarterly deadline tomorrow -- and I'm sorry to say that we're still not on track to hit our fundraising goal.
We still need 7 more folks from your town to step up today and make a $7 donation to the DNC. Can I count on you to rush a donation to help the DNC reach this goal?
Thank you,
Jess

Subject: Trailing behind...
I'll keep this quick: The DNC is falling short of our quarterly fundraising goal, and we're counting on you to help close the gap before Wednesday's end-of-quarter deadline.
The GOP is fired up more than ever, which makes our fundraising numbers even more important. Missing these critical fundraising benchmarks means falling short in our efforts to fight voter suppression, power state parties and local organizers, and run early ads to uplift the great work Democrats are doing nationwide.
It's a steep goal to reach, but I've seen what this grassroots team can do when we're down to the wire. Trailing behind our goals this early in the cycle can put us at a significant disadvantage down the road, which is why hitting fundraising goals before quarterly deadlines like Wednesday's is critical to our party's success.
Will you be one of the 16 more donors needed from your area to donate $7 before Wednesday's end-of-quarter deadline? Falling short of this quarter's goal means giving the Republican Party an advantage in 2021 and 2022.
There is too much at stake to fall behind at this point in the cycle. Democrats are working overtime to deliver relief to families and build our country back better, while Republican lawmakers are attacking the right to vote in hopes of grabbing back political power.
The DNC is already making historically early investments in state parties and local organizing infrastructure so that Democrats can compete everywhere -- even on Republicans' home turf. But expanding our slim majorities in the Senate, House, and nationwide is going to take continued support.
Be one of the 16 more Democrats needed from your area to donate $7 to the DNC before Wednesday's end-of-quarter deadline to meet this critical benchmark and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Thank you for your support,
Joe

P.S. The DNC is counting on 16 more donors from your area to pitch in before Wednesday's end-of-quarter deadline to keep Democrats competitive with Republicans in 2021, 2022, and beyond. Please donate $7 to help elect Democrats in your area and nationwide in elections to come.
