I'm reaching out to you ahead of Wednesday's end-of-quarter deadline to make sure you heard about the DNC's plans to expand our map in 2022. I hope you'll read this note about our party's strategy and, if you can, donate $7 before our deadline to support it.
Here at DNC HQ, we use the term "nested opportunities" to reference states where Democrats have a chance at winning not just at the top of the ticket, but down the ballot as well. These states are extremely important for us to invest in ahead of the midterms. Take a look at a few of them:
But, here's the thing: We cannot invest in the organizing staff, voter protection efforts, and more needed to win in these states without your early support. Falling behind this early in the cycle could very well mean that we'll be in a position where we can't take advantage of these important opportunities at all, so I have to ask:
Will you be one of the 15 more folks we need from your area to donate $7 before our end-of-quarter deadline? Every donation will put us that much closer to expanding the map in 2022.
While President Biden, Vice President Harris, and congressional Democrats have been fighting for America's working families, Republicans have been busy trying to obstruct our progress and regain power by any means necessary.
The good news is that we've got a plan to flip more states blue and push the envelope in others -- so that Democrats can keep making change for the American people. But our plan will only be possible with your early support. That's why I'm urgently writing to committed Democrats like you today to ask for your support ahead of Wednesday's end-of-quarter deadline:
Be one of the 15 more supporters we need from your area to make a $7 donation to the DNC before Wednesday. Every penny will be used to elect more Democrats in the upcoming midterms and beyond.
Talk again soon,
Alana

P.S. In order to take advantage of these nested opportunities, we need to invest right away -- not just in the weeks and months before the midterms. Make a $7 contribution to the DNC before our end-of-quarter deadline to help expand the map for Democrats in the years to come.
