Pamela, Last November, Cori made history when she defeated two far-right opponents and became the first Black woman in the history of Missouri and first on the ground activist for Black lives ever to be elected to Congress. We'll be honest with you: there was a lot of doubt at first whether we could pull it off. We had to overcome big-money donors who invested big to attack Cori, her activism, and even her family. We had to challenge an entrenched establishment opponent with every resource at their disposal. In the end, they failed and our movement won. We credit this victory to the thousands of volunteers and donors who fought alongside us to elect Cori and believed in the power of our people-first movement. In her first few weeks in Congress, Cori is already leading the fight in Congress to hold Republicans accountable for the white supremacist insurrectionist attack on the Capitol and is proudly working alongisde other progressive leaders to pass people-first policies like Medicare for All. The GOP is more determined than ever before to defeat Cori. Cori is already sending shockwaves throughout the country with her bold leadership and commitment in fighting to better the lives of all people — so now Republicans are preparing to invest big so they can prevent her reelection. Will you sign your name to endorse Cori's reelection campaign, and join our movement for transformative change? Since Cori took office, Republicans have ramped up the attacks against her for standing up against police brutality, for fighting to get every single person access to medical care, and for trying to save our planet. Republicans even openly BOOED her courage in Congress after she spoke out about why we needed to impeach Donald Trump, the white supremacist-in-chief. And as we get closer to reelection, those attacks are only going to escalate. The GOP knows that our progressive agenda is gaining momentum and they're prepared to do whatever it takes to remove Cori from power. But they're not going to deter us. As long as people are suffering, we're not going to back down from the solutions that will alleviate that harm just because some other folks are too scared to fight for working people. Together, we're going to build a movement capable of changing what's politically possible. It's a tall order, but we didn't make it here by thinking small. It's gonna take a little bit of work from a whole bunch of people to make this happen. Will you show your support today by giving your personal endorsement for Cori? Together, Team Cori |
