In a moment we're going to ask you to pitch in today to help us reach our $1 million January fundraising goal — but first let's recap what January held for us.
Earlier this month, we helped secure two Democratic Senate seats in Georgia by raising tens of thousands of dollars for grassroots groups doing deep canvassing and recruiting thousands of volunteers to contact as many voters as possible.
Then we had a violent insurrection at the Capitol, egged on by Republicans like Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz. So together we raised tens of thousands of dollars for grassroots organizers who have the power to unseat them in Missouri and Texas.
With so much else going on, we haven't been as focused on fundraising for the campaign. That has left us with a fundraising gap. We now have 48 hours to fill that gap and hit our $1 million goal in order to sure up our resources.
