Honestly, this has been a tough month. With all that's going on, we haven't been focused on the usual campaign stuff. And that's okay!
Alexandria spent the first few days of the month focused on winning Georgia — raising tens of thousands of dollars for grassroots groups doing deep canvassing and recruiting thousands of volunteers to contact as many voters as possible.
Then we had a violent insurrection at the Capitol, egged on by Republicans like Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz. So Alexandria raised tens of thousands of dollars for grassroots organizers who have the power to unseat them in Missouri and Texas.
On top of all that, this has been the worst month of the pandemic since it started. That's why, over the weekend, we raised another $45,000 to expand our Homework Helpers tutoring for children who need help while schools are closed.
Obviously, we haven't been focused on fundraising for our campaign. And, again, that's okay. Alexandria's focus has been 100% on what matters most during this turbulent month.
But, it does leave us with a pretty big gap in fundraising, and that's why we really could use your help today. If you are able, can you chip in $3 right now to help us close this gap in fundraising?

We've only raised about half as much in January as we had at this point in December. That's why we need to have a really big end-of-month fundraising surge to ensure we don't fall too far behind.
Our average donation this month is about $16.68, so it would take somewhere around 40,000 of you chipping in that amount to close the gap completely.
This team has never let us down before. But, whether or not we close this gap, we have a lot to be proud of in fundraising to win Georgia, hold Republicans accountable for the insurrection, and expand our Homework Helpers program.
