Looking back over this month, there were moments of celebration and also traumatic events we're still recovering from.
But through it all, our movement stayed clear eyed and committed to our values. We've called for accountability for the members of Congress and former President who incited a violent mob – and we've also gotten to work fighting for the progressive policies that will directly impact people's lives.
We have big plans for next month including expanding our Homework Helpers program, hosting more Green New Deal phone banks, fighting for Covid-19 relief, ending the death penalty, reforming our immigration system through the Roadmap to Freedom resolution, and much more.
But we have a big end-of-month goal at midnight that we need to hit in order to continue our momentum and make sure Alexandria has the support to keep fighting in Congress.
Our victory in Georgia this month proves once again that when we join together and invest in on-the-ground organizing – we can do what no one thought possible and flip states from red to blue.
But it takes resources to train volunteers and organize. That's why we're hoping you can chip in today – whatever you can – to help us grow our programs and keep Alexandria fighting in Congress for all of us.
