A brief but important update for you:
- Tonight, Bernie will attend the Climate Town Hall on CNN where he'll talk about our Green New Deal, the boldest plan to address the climate crisis.
- Then, the third presidential primary debate is next Thursday in Houston. This will be a HUGE moment for our movement as Bernie discusses issues like Medicare for All, canceling student debt, and making sure the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes.
- And at the end of this month, our campaign faces our biggest test yet: our next FEC fundraising deadline. Shortly after, we'll need to publicly release our numbers – and the corporate media will use it as a way to determine the strength of our movement.
You may recall we were out-raised by a few of our opponents following the last FEC deadline in June. Our job between now and the next deadline is to generate as many individual donations as possible to close the gap.
We are aiming to put up a big number today in order to keep pace. So we're asking everyone who supports Bernie to chip in today.
Most candidates depend on $2,800 max-out checks from wealthy campaign contributors in order to fund their campaigns.
Not Bernie.
This campaign is funded by LOTS of people contributing donations averaging $19 a piece. That means it requires an unprecedented number of contributions in order to build the organization to win.
Thank you for being a part of this movement. If you can chip in today, it'd mean a lot to Bernie.
Contribute $2.70 today. As long as we're in this together, we are going to win.
Thanks for adding your donation to stand with Bernie.
In solidarity,
Team Bernie
