I'm running for Senate against Cory Gardner (R). Let me tell you why.
| | Friend,
I'm running for Senate in Colorado against Cory Gardner (R). Let me tell you why.
When I launched my campaign for president, I wanted to make sure we were having a conversation about bringing people together to make progressive change. It's something our leaders in Washington have failed to do, and in my experience as a Mayor and a Governor, it's a conversation we need to have if we're going to stand up for the issues that matter most.
And as I traveled across the country and talked to folks, they kept asking: what about the Senate? What about defeating Cory Gardner and helping flip the Senate?
The truth is, my work fighting for Coloradans isn't done. And right now, Cory Gardner is the most vulnerable Senator up for re-election. | If you're ready to flip this critical seat from red to blue and help elect more Democrats to the Senate, will you split a donation of $5 between my campaign and the DSCC? | We can't get anything done in the White House unless we flip the Senate, and the progressive change we want to see -- the kind of change I haven't stopped fighting for -- goes nowhere if we don't lay the groundwork right now to take back the Senate.
I was first elected Colorado's governor in 2010, a tough year for Democrats. But that didn't stop me from bringing people together to find commonsense solutions our communities needed. We worked to get more Coloradans access to health care, we continued to adhere to the Paris Climate Agreement, and we didn't stop when it came to standing up to the NRA.
We can keep building on the success we saw in Colorado -- success that Cory Gardner stands in the way of -- if we flip this seat and take back the Senate.
I can't do it without your help, so I hope you'll join me in committing to a better path forward. You can use this link to split a donation between the DSCC and my campaign right now:

Thank you, John Hickenlooper U.S. Senate candidate, Colorado | Former Denver Mayor and two-term Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is running for Colorado's Senate seat. He has a record of expanding access to health care, protecting our outdoor heritage, and standing up to the NRA. He needs this grassroots community to step up to help him win this critical red-to-blue Senate seat. |
