Give me a chance to explain why tomorrow’s deadline is so important

We're ready to start finalizing a few important decisions.

Let me give it to you straight:

Over the past few days, we've had a number of conversations with Bernie, Jane and a few senior staff members about when to start our advertising campaign, how much to spend, and what the focus of our first ads should be.

The answer to when and how much is dependent upon what happens today and tomorrow.

Because tomorrow at midnight, we close the books on an important end-of-month fundraising drive. When it ends, we'll start finalizing our decisions.

So there's absolutely no better time than today to make your first online contribution to our campaign. Because if you do it before this deadline ends, we'll hit our goals and put ourselves in a position to win. So what do you say?

Can you make a $2.70 contribution to our campaign before this deadline ends to help us close our budget gap and put ourselves in a position to win this primary?

This is a really important question. Because a number of our opponents are already on the air in Iowa, and some are spending quite significantly. Including Joe Biden. So thank you in advance for chipping in. It will mean a lot to our campaign in the immediate future.
