BREAKING: Trump just lost in court AGAIN – this time over his dictator-like attempt to crack down on our right to vote. [1] Pamela, this is a MAJOR victory for voting rights, but our work isn't done.   That's because the anti-voter politicians behind this attack have a plan B – the SAVE Act, which contains many of these same policies. Earlier this month, the House of Representatives passed this awful bill – a modern-day poll tax designed to block millions of eligible voters from casting a ballot.   We've fended off a major threat, but now, it's up to us to tell the Senate to keep their hands off our most sacred right – our right to vote. We won't let Trump and his MAGA extremists take away our right to vote. Will you sign our petition to demand the Senate REJECT the SAVE Act? SIGN THE PETITION Here's how the SAVE Act puts your vote at risk:  Prove your citizenship – again: Even if you're a lifelong voter, if you move across town, change your last name when getting married, or switch parties, you'd have to provide your passport or birth certificate with your current legal name – in person at your local elections office – just to stay registered.  Get stuck in long lines: Election officials would face impossible workloads, causing confusion and delays.  Lose your right to vote – without warning: If outdated records can't verify your status, you could be purged from the rolls without even knowing it.  These barriers could disenfranchise millions of eligible Americans – especially the 146 million Americans without passports and the 69 million American women whose birth certificates don't match their married names. People lose their voice, communities lose power, and elections no longer belong to We The People – they belong to those who make the rules.  This is a moment to stand on principle.
