Happy Earth Month, Pamela! We hope you're excited to spend April appreciating our planet, celebrating our climate progress, and doing a whole lot of good for our environment.
This month is about more than awareness -- it's a call to action. Earth Month is 55 years old, but under the worst president for the environment in American history, this call to action is stronger than ever.
That's why, this April, Climate Power is launching an initiative to mobilize people across the country to build public pressure against this administration's damaging actions to our climate.
The strategy behind this campaign is to 1) Reach unique communities where they are online -- networks of gamers, home renovation enthusiasts on TikTok, you name it, and 2) Provide them with the information they need to call their Representatives and urge them to say no to EPA cuts, layoffs at NOAA, and attacks on our clean energy investments.

Here's the harsh reality: Conservatives have built a sophisticated online ecosystem that enables climate disinformation to spread like wildfire (truly, no pun intended).
This reality can feel daunting. But we are not powerless. A campaign like this one is a way to fight back against this dangerous echo chamber and invest in the online infrastructure we need to reach communities in ways that resonate.
Republicans have slim majorities to work with. This means that every single effort -- every single call -- that helps showcase to them that their constituents are demanding they fight for our climate has the potential to move the needle in our favor.
Thank you 💚
The Climate Power team
