On Sat April 5, we’re saying “Hands Off our Democracy!” Can you join us?

On April 5th, we are joining hundreds of thousands of people to say "Hands Off!" This will be the largest mass protest since Jan 20, and we need you to join us.

Pamela: We are facing a national crisis.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are destroying democracy to grab power for themselves and make their rich friends richer. They're giving tax cuts to billionaires while slashing investments in healthcare, infrastructure, education, peacebuilding, and diplomacy. It's time to stop the chaos and make our voices heard.

Our job, now and always, is to defend communities facing violence and injustice. That's why, on April 5th, we are joining hundreds of thousands of people to say "Hands Off!" Hands off our social services. Hands off our rights. Hands off our communities. This will be the largest mass protest since Jan 20, and we need you to join us.

You can look for a "Hands Off!" event in Rockledge at this link. If you're in the DC area, you'll even get to hear from our Executive Director, Sara Haghdoosti, who'll be a featured speaker at Saturday's rally on the National Mall!

Trump and Musk are stripping critical programs that millions of people rely on absolutely bare.

Whether they're firing thousands of workers from the Federal Aviation Administration amidst near-misses and crashes on multiple runways, freezing funding for vital programs to address HIV/AIDS, cholera, and malaria, or dismantling the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's ability to monitor extreme climate events, one thing is clear: Gutting the departments and agencies that play a vital role in our collective safety will cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of lives.

This is no moment for business as usual. We are facing a threat to our country, our civil rights, and our freedoms through an unconstitutional power grab. Now is the time to make our voices heard and demand our lawmakers to use their power to hold Trump and Musk accountable.

That's why hundreds of thousands of activists are rising up against Trump and Musk's overreach. Sara and other members of our team will be in DC — will we see you at one of the 1,000+ other events below?

This is shaping up to be the largest single-day protest since Trump's inauguration. Join us on Saturday!

For years, our team has been laying the groundwork to stop the corrupt war machine that's allowed weapons contractors to capitalize on global conflict and keep their profits flowing.

We can't promise that we can stop the hostile gutting of our government fast enough to avoid the harm. What can we guarantee? The situation won't change if organizations like ours, and people like you, sit on the sidelines.
