This is how our own democracy gets rigged against us—not through a single headline-grabbing scandal, but through quiet, day-by-day corruption. But here's the good news: We're fighting back.
Common Cause Florida is on the ground, in the statehouse, and in the halls of power, shining a light on the corruption they hope no one sees. That's why we're working to support ethical government and anti-corruption measures.
Florida once had some of the strongest open government laws in the country, but transparency and accountability have been chipped away year after year. Common Cause Florida is advocating for ethics and public records laws that move our state back toward holding those who violate the public trust accountable and ensuring government actions align with the interests of the people.
