Can I share a bit about why I do this work?
| | Friend, can I share a bit about why I do this work? It really starts with my parents. My dad, "Doc Brown," was our town doctor, and my mom was the president of our local YWCA and a leader in the Ohio Hunger Task Force. They taught me to work hard, serve our community, and stand up for what's right. | | When I became a parent myself, I did everything I could to install those same values in my daughters – and now, I'm proudly passing them along to my eight grandchildren. (I'm also teaching them to love baseball – go Guardians!) | I believe kids are our future, which is why I'm fighting every day to ensure every kid in our country has the tools they need to succeed. | But here's the problem: I'm facing the toughest reelection battle of my life, and I'm up against multiple self-funding Republicans who are ready to pour millions into this race. The only way I can fight back is with your grassroots support. What do you say, friend? Will you chip in $5, or any amount that's meaningful to you, to help me win in Ohio, defend the Senate, and continue making progress for the next generation? | Thank you so much for being on my team. Together, I know we can make our country a better place for our kids and grandkids. | | | | | | | | |
