On Tuesday, new polling revealed that a majority of Republican voters agree that Donald Trump should be sentenced to prison if found guilty as a result of the federal and state charges against him related to his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.1
The poll shows that even Republican voters still believe in holding Trump accountable, despite the lies and baseless narratives pushed by the right-wing media machine seeking to undermine the pending cases against Trump.
While this is welcome news, we know that polls often change during election cycles and that we need to be prepared to counter the inevitable wave of misinformation pushed by Fox News and other right-wing bad actors. That's why, thanks to support from MoveOn members like you, MoveOn is running a big television and digital ad campaign to remind voters about Trump's crimes and mobilize them to beat Trump in 2024.

Our campaign to take down Trump is working, Andra. Polling is beginning to show that as Trump's indictments have racked up, his net favorability rating has fallen by nearly 10 points among Republicans and 5 points among all adults.2
Consequently, MoveOn is taking the lead in educating voters about the 91 criminal charges that Trump faces and the complicity of GOP leaders in enabling his crimes and criminality, through a multi-pronged, democracy-saving television and digital ad campaign.
During last week's GOP debate, we ran a 30-second, hard-hitting ad on Fox networks in D.C. and across the country, specifically targeting districts currently held by vulnerable House Republicans—all of whom have been silent on the charges facing Trump—and showed voters some of the top GOP candidates' extreme positions on Trump's indictments.
To continue driving a wedge between Republican voters and Trump—and ensure that he and those who continue to prop him up lose in 2024—we want to run our ad on additional Fox stations and on digital platforms all the way until Election Day. But buying television airtime is incredibly expensive, and we need to expand our reach to have as big of an impact as possible.

Trumpism and Trump are not invincible, Andra. We have the opportunity to expose and defeat Trump and MAGA Republicans in 2024 with support from MoveOn members like you, but we must act immediately. We've done it before, we can do it again.
