Pamela, as I was scrolling through the news this week, here's what I saw: "Jeff Bezos' superyacht is so big it needs its own yacht." — CNN Business I don't know about you, Pamela, but I'm just so damn sick of seeing these kinds of bogus headlines. No, not because I don't think that people who work hard or succeed in business don't deserve to have nice things — but because rich dudes like Amazon's Jeff Bezos are raking in hundreds of billions of dollars by union-busting and screwing over the men and women who make it all possible. It's a disgrace. The union way of life is sacred + built this nation. It's time to put power into the hands of workers and pass the PRO Act. If you're with me, please add your name next to mine if you think the Senate needs to pass the PRO Act immediately. There is nothing more important or more sacred in this country than the union way of life. Unions built America and unions built the middle class. For generations, corporations and special interests have fought tooth and nail to roll back the rights of workers and blunt the power of unions. That can finally end with the PRO Act. It is time to put power back into the hands of workers, fight for our union brothers and sisters, and expand the union way of life for all workers across America. The House has already passed this bold legislation to protect workers' rights, and now it's time for the Senate to act. Add your name right now if you agree that it is past time to pass the PRO Act. Tell the Senate: Pass the PRO Act → Here's how I see it, Pamela: Supporting the PRO Act should be the floor, not the ceiling when it comes to politicians standing with the working men and women of this country. The Senate needs to pass it now. My commitment to the union way of life is absolute — even if it puts me at odds with my own party, and no matter how it polls. I am proud to stand with the Steelworkers, the Building Trades, and all of the union workers in Pennsylvania, even when others turn their backs on them. I always have and I always will. If I were in the Senate representing Pennsylvania right now, you can bet that I'd be a strong YES vote for the PRO Act. But working families can't afford to wait any longer. So I'm asking you to join me today: Tell the Senate to pass the PRO Act. It's time to put power into the hands of workers and expand the union way of life. Tell the Senate: Pass the PRO Act → Thank you for signing on, John John Fetterman Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania |
