Can you chip in before then to make sure Joe and Kamala hit their goal? Kamala and I are no strangers to a fundraising goal. Throughout each of her campaigns -- for California Attorney General and U.S. Senator -- we saw the power of grassroots donors chipping in $5, $10, or whatever they could afford to power her campaign and make sure we had the resources we needed. But this deadline is different. Now that the conventions are over, August's end-of-month fundraising deadline is officially the first deadline of the general election. Whatever we raise this month will then be publicly reported, and we need to show just how strong a position this campaign is in to defeat Donald Trump in November. And for me, it's personal -- I can be a competitive guy sometimes, and I'd love to say that in Kamala's first month on the ticket, we were able to outraise Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and the Republicans. According to the finance team's latest records, we still need to raise $87,609 from your state before tomorrow night to make sure we hit our goal.
