The media are going to ask how many contributions we got tonight

The debate's going to start soon, so I want to make clear real quick what's going to happen.

• Candidates supported by billionaires, big money, and super PACs are going to attack Bernie and our ideas — on behalf of their donors.


• After the debate, the media will ask what kind of support Bernie and our campaign had today — a number they'll use to say how well we did.

Here's what we want to tell them:

• Tens of thousands of people showed that they support Bernie, our ideas, and our movement by making small contributions of whatever they can afford. Because that's how we're going to win this election.

Contribute $2.70 to Bernie 2020 for tonight's debate so that we can send an unmistakable message about the power of our movement, our ideas, and our campaign.

Everyone will be watching how well we do, and how much support our movement gives to Bernie today. Let's show them what we've got.
