Friend -- It doesn’t matter who wins the White House in 2020 -- if Democrats don’t take back the Senate from Mitch McConnell, everything we care about will be on the chopping block: health care, gun safety, climate change and, yes, the future of the Supreme Court. Experts from CNN to Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight report that Democrats CAN take back the Senate, but we can’t do it without winning in North Carolina. And right now the race is a total toss-up: The Hill reports that the Republican incumbent is narrowly trailing Democratic challenger Cal Cunningham by only TWO POINTS -- that’s within the margin of error!  With the future of the Senate on the line, I’ve set a goal to raise $15,000 by midnight to help Democrat Cal Cunningham flip this seat and take back the Senate from Mitch McConnell -- but right now, we’re on track to fall just short: Friend, will you please split a contribution of $5 or more between Cal's campaign and the DSCC? Every dollar you give will help flip North Carolina’s Senate seat, take back the Senate, and end Mitch McConnell’s reign as majority leader.  Flipping North Carolina won’t be easy. President Trump is going all-in behind Cal’s opponent, and his allies will spend millions to try and buy this seat. If we’re going to flip this seat and win back the Senate majority, we cannot afford to fall short of a single goal. Republicans are vulnerable, and their house of cards is about to come tumbling down. But I’m counting on you to chip in right now so we’re ready to seize this historic moment: Friend -- we need you to chip in before midnight.
