Hi y'all, it's Philisea, an organizer on the ground in South Carolina! And I'm so excited because I'm here to tell you that we can -- and we will -- elect Kamala as our next president. Our campaign organized and mobilized the largest Black Women's Weekend of Action with supporters traveling from across the country to the Palmetto State. It was incredibly powerful and inspiring. We did EVERYTHING: made calls, knocked doors, reached new supporters, sang, and heard words of wisdom from amazing leaders. As an organizer and a Black woman from South Carolina, it's warmed my heart! All leading up to Kamala taking the stage at our official Black Women's Town Hall. It was here that she spoke truth to power about our fight ahead for not only our movement, but for our communities. And this was all just in one day! But the fight doesn't stop here. Our campaign isn't just here for a weekend, we're digging deep, going to counties many candidates have never been like Saluda, SC, amplifying voices that never get heard. There's nothing better and more powerful than to be seen and heard.
