Here is the truth, friends -
Historically, November is a VERY difficult month for fundraising. Very. In our last campaign, we raised 25% less in November than we did in October, despite having significant momentum in the month.
It set us back. It ended up being a problem.
Well, we have momentum again this time around. We're on television, we're at or near the lead in a number of polls, and we have a great chance to win.
But we can't let November be another setback. We just can't.
So our job is to start the month with as many individual contributions as we possibly can. We really need a strong start to November. Because if we fall behind, there could be trouble ahead. So I am asking:
One of the benefits of running again is learning the lessons from the last race. We've done that so far, and it's part of why we are doing so well. But this is a big lesson from the last race, too. And if you can make sure we don't slump in our fundraising, we have a great chance of winning.
All my best,
Faiz Shakir
