Why I’m backing Sherrod Brown

Hey friend,

It's Dulé Hill here. You might know me from The West Wing, Psych, Suits – or even from my days as a tap dancer.

But today I'm reaching out not just as a performer, but also as an American. I care deeply about fairness, dignity, and equality – that's why I'm proud to support Sherrod Brown in his battleground race for U.S. Senate in Ohio.

Sherrod has always been a fighter for working families, and it's evident we need his voice in Washington now more than ever. Working people are seeing costs soar, wages stagnate, and way too many of these politicians in D.C. are siding with billionaires and corporate special interests instead of the people they represent.

I respect that Sherrod couldn't sit on the sidelines when he saw Ohio workers getting left behind – that's why he's jumping back in the fight.

I love that Sherrod isn't afraid to take on anyone rigging the system against working people. He's spent his entire career fighting for the Dignity of Work – the idea that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you do.

But this will be one of the toughest Senate races in the country. Corporate special interests will spend millions to try to defeat Sherrod because they know he won't let them take advantage of working people.
