Pamela, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is a crony appointed by Donald Trump, and has been shielded from accountability by the USPS Board of Governors, which Trump also stacked with loyalists. In microcosm, it's like the way Trump's appointees on the Supreme Court have shielded him from accountability for his own many crimes. While we have the opportunity to defeat Trump at the ballot box this November, we have no choice but to try to shame the USPS Board and the Surpeme Court while dutifully appointing sensible replacements when the opportunity arises. Louis DeJoy is trying to initiate a "death spiral" that will lead to the privatization of the Post Office, which would benefit his millionaire and billionaire backers.
