The way we're going to win in Texas is by going everywhere and bringing everyone in.
It's going to take meeting Texans where they live. Listening to them about the challenges that keep them up at night, and the things that they aspire to achieve.
It'll take hosting events, big and small, where people have the opportunity to listen to each other and find common ground on the issues that matter most.
And it's going to take knocking on doors in every part of Texas, reminding every Texan why these elections matter. Too many Texans will tell you that they're tired of seeing nothing change — year after year and election after election.
After decades of voter suppression, disenfranchisement, and being made to feel like their vote won't make a difference, it's up to us to partner with Texans to give them a reason to believe in change.
It isn't going to be easy, but there's nothing more important that we could be doing right now.
