This is what voter suppression looks like.
Greg Abbott's voter suppression law is working as intended, and it's wreaking havoc on our elections.
Early voting for primary elections — including our own primary — started last Monday. But in Harris County, where nearly 2.5 million registered voters live, a staggering 40% of mail-in ballots have already been rejected.
This is not a drill. Congress has shown it won't protect our voting rights. The Supreme Court won't either. So it's on ALL of us to step up.
If we want every voter to get a say in who becomes their next governor, we need nothing less than a historic, record-setting voter mobilization effort that is bigger than anything Texas has seen before.

That means we're going to knock on their doors, reach them on their phones, and even send them hand-written notes in the mail. Tens of thousands of volunteers have joined our team — that's more than twice the number of volunteers we had in 2018, when we set the voter turnout record in Texas.
This is how we directly take on Greg Abbott's voter suppression, and it's how we win this election. But we can't do it without you.
