This is just the beginning.
Early voting in the Texas primaries ends tomorrow. And across the state, thousands of eligible, registered voters who tried to vote by mail have been rejected under Greg Abbott's new voter suppression law. Some counties are reporting up to 40% (!) of mail-in ballots being sent back.
The voter suppression happening now in Texas is on purpose and by design. This is just the beginning of the massive problems we'll witness when Texans try to vote for their next Governor in the general election.
Instead of trying to earn votes, Greg Abbott is counting on silencing Texans to win.
