Yesterday, we opened up our books to share that we're running $194,685 behind our fundraising in January — and since February is three days shorter than a typical month, we're running out of time to catch up.
We know it's a lot to ask to make up that entire gap by midnight on Monday. But the reality is that we need to raise MORE, not less, than we did last month — because our organizing operation is growing bigger by the day.
Defeating Greg Abbott and winning in a state as big as Texas on people power alone is an enormous task. But it's one we're capable of — together.
The bottom line is that we can't let something as trivial as a 28-day month keep us from hitting our goals and having the campaign infrastructure we need to take on Greg Abbott.
Our organizers and volunteers are hard at work to reach 4 million voters before polls open on March 1st for the primary election. Now, we need our incredible grassroots donors to match their efforts and ensure we don't fall behind.
Together, we'll work for every single vote and write no one off. That's how we win.
