NEW YORK TIMES: Endangered Species Act Weakened by Trump   ADD YOUR NAME NEXT TO MINE: CONDEMN Trump for his deliberate attempt to end vital protections for our wildlife >>   President Trump’s recent actions have me absolutely heartbroken.   For decades, my colleagues and I have worked so hard to protect all animals and wildlife in our country -- especially those we fear are close to endangerment.    But just yesterday, I watched as Trump announced massive changes that would drastically weaken the Endangered Species Act.   He’s claiming our ongoing climate crisis is not a valid reason to protect animal habitats -- and he wants to weaken the requirements needed to claim a species is endangered.   I’ve sat and watched Trump destroy nearly every important environmental protection President Obama put into place.    I can’t sit still any longer while Trump and his Republicans accelerate the climate crisis -- and put all of us at risk.   That’s why I’m asking for 1OO,OOO grassroots Democrats to join me and condemn Trump for leaving our wildlife in the dust.   Please, this is critical.
