This has been a difficult, emotional month. What happened in El Paso lit a new fire under us. It showed our entire campaign how consequential this fight is. President Trump's racism does not just offend our sensibilities; it fundamentally changes the character of this country. And it leads to violence.
So as we close out August, I am more determined than ever to win this race. What it's going to take is meeting every single goal from here on out. Falling short, even by a little, is no longer an option.
