It has been a heart-wrenching time for America. But together, we can fix this.
It's a heart-wrenching time for America, friend. Two mass shootings in less than 24 hours. At least 31 people killed. 50 or more injured. One thing is clear: Our gun violence crisis is out of control.
The American people are tired of living like this, and they're ready for real reform. Recent polling shows 90% of people support universal background checks for gun sales -- that's why Mitch McConnell and the GOP-controlled Senate must pass meaningful gun safety reform or be voted out. If we don't remove them from power, this crisis will never end.
So I'm asking you to have the courage to stand up and take action to help elect a gun safety majority in the Senate. We owe it to every man, woman, and child whose life has been cut short by gun violence.
Will you split a $1 donation between my organization dedicated to ending gun violence and the DSCC? It will help elect a gun safety majority in the Senate so we can finally pass the gun safety legislation our country needs.
