Can we explain this Nate Silver tweet?

Did you see this tweet from FiveThirtyEight head pollster Nate Silver?

We have some thoughts on his tweet -- but before we dive in, we have to ask: can you rush a donation to Kamala's campaign for president? We've set a goal of raising $250,000 by midnight tomorrow and are counting on you to reach it:

Nate's tweet captures what we're seeing on the ground: Kamala has momentum on her side. Like yesterday, in Iowa, when despite a flood warning, nearly 1,000 Iowans came out to hear Kamala's vision for our country and how we can take back the White House.

None of what we've done so far together would be possible without your support -- and the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have stepped up to join our campaign.

But we can't forget: in 2016, nearly every pundit and pollster thought Donald Trump would lose.

Polling analysis doesn't win elections. But votes do. We have to make sure we have a movement powerful enough to cut through the noise when it matters most.

We need to keep our eyes laser-focused on the work ahead of us -- including building out a robust organizing team and helping Kamala stay out on the campaign trail, meeting with voters across the country. That's the only way we can win this thing.

We're putting the power to build our campaign in your hands. Can you pitch in a donation before midnight tomorrow?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

There's a long way to go until folks start caucusing and voting in this election. But the work to build a strong, resilient campaign starts right now.

Thanks for being in Kamala's corner.

— Team Kamala
